I believe the Alabama Learning Exchange is a great learning tool for teachers and students. It provides several different catagories that help benefit teachers in their everyday work tasks. It allows you to choose Choices of Study, which varies from Social Studies, Art, Math, Science, etc., and further helps by allowing you to search by grade level and keywords in that specific subject. The Web Links are helpfull to Administration, teachers, and students by allowing them to search other beneficial sites. The Lesson Plan includes every subject and includes it by grade level, it allows teachers to make it easy to organize their weekly lessons. The rest include a teachers personal workspace, professional learning that has professional learning tools with different subjects to choose from that provides professional growth and communication. It provides Distant Learning which includes ACCESS Distant Learning, (Alabama Connecting Classrooms, Educators, and Students Statewide).
In my opionion, I believe this website has resourceful information for teachers and students. It provides them with everything needed in the classroom and in any other situation, and makes it easier to plan weekly schedules, lesson plans, and lets you choose from other links to benefit any other questions. The Lesson Plans is the most helpful and I believe most beneficial for a teacher, because it seems to be the most time consuming thing for a teachers and is quicker on ALEX than writing out a Lesson Plan book.
